A documentary exploration of Ground Zero, the site of the 9/11 Memorial
I remember 09/11/2001. I was just turning 26. I had never taken a day off, but that day my boss at my day job insisted I take the day just to myself. I slept in and woke up, turning on the tv in my living room. And that was it. Every year, since the 15th anniversary of the attacks, I do not celebrate my birthday. Instead, I visit the site. I often will sit and listen, then I trace names, and I watch. Finally, I photograph, quietly and unseen.
